Recent Powerhouse 10U News
Good showing by the 10U Powerhouse team this past weekend at the XDS President's Weekend Tourney in San Diego. The boys played an intense semi-final game and came out victorious in a a 3-1 battle. The pitching and defense was outstanding. The win also avenged a tough 3-2 loss to a rival opponent in a prior meeting which the Powerhouse team gave up the lead with 2 outs in the last inning.
Powerhouse 10U came up just short in the gold bracket championship suffering an 8-7 loss. Powerhouse had runners on 2nd and 3rd but didn’t score when the final out was made on a hard hit to second.

Powerhouse 10U had its best tournament performance of the season with big wins over CBA and Diablos. In the Gold Championship game against the Stars, the team had an over-the-fence grand slam to make it 8-2 after four innings but the Stars slowly cut into the lead with a walkoff 9-8 win. 10U came up a bit short but had a great weekend of baseball and learned a ton!
